Grammar Assembly

Check that a part obeys the assembly syntax it claims, then assemble parts that do. Classification reads the real flanking overhangs and the Type IIS enzyme, so a part that would not assemble is identified by its sequence rather than by its filename.

Real GoldenBraid Level-0 promoters, CDSs and terminators: classify by grammar, level and position, then close a transcription unit

01

What it does

  1. 01Part classification by grammar, level and position from the flanking overhangs
  2. 02Built-in GoldenBraid Level 0 grammar, with the Type IIS enzymes it uses
  3. 03Assembly of classified parts into transcription units
  4. 04Rejection reasons stated per part, so a non-compliant part is diagnosable
  5. 05Parts bin populated from the open project
02

What it runs on

Grammar handling and assembly come from the SpliceCraft and DnaCauldron ports in packages/ports. The panel runs on @ports/enzymes, @ports/goldengate, @ports/grammar.

Everything runs client-side. Files are parsed in the browser and projects are saved on this machine, so an unpublished sequence is never uploaded.

Questions

Which grammar does it check against?
The built-in GoldenBraid Level 0 grammar, which defines the flanking overhangs per position and the Type IIS enzymes used, and parts are classified against it by sequence.
