What it runs on

Every sequence operation runs in the browser against the open document, so a map, a digest and a translation always describe the same molecule rather than a saved snapshot.

Everything runs client-side. Files are parsed in the browser and projects are saved on this machine, so an unpublished sequence is never uploaded.

Questions

Can it open SnapGene .dna files?
Yes. SnapGene files are parsed in the browser, including the embedded construction history where the file carries one.
Are my sequences uploaded?
No. The application is local-first: files are parsed in the browser and projects are saved on the machine.
